Peggy – Special Girl Seeking Forever Home

Peggy is a beautiful, gentle 1-year-old tripod who is thriving in foster care and now looking for her forever home. Despite a difficult start in life, she is a happy, affectionate girl who loves people and gets on well with other dogs.

Peggy has adapted brilliantly to life on three legs but needs managed exercise, enjoying several short walks each day on soft ground such as grass or sand. She does not enjoy lead walking on tarmac and would ideally suit a home with a large secure garden, land, or nearby beach.

She is calm, confident, and very food motivated, enjoying gentle enrichment like sniffing and foraging. Peggy is fully house-trained, rarely barks, and thrives on routine.

 Ideal Home

• Adult-only or children aged 13+

• No entire male dogs

• Calm, understanding household

• No stairs; help needed getting in/out of vehicles

Peggy is currently unspayed and on joint supplements, which we recommend continuing.
